STOKKE® Xplory® stroller, best in test 2006 by Stiftung Warentest
The consumer product testing from the world's fifteen leading stroller and ba by carriage manufacturers performed by the German institution Stiftung Warentest found STOKKE® Xplory® to be the preferred stroller of choice and one of only five strollers which did not contain any harmful substances.
In January and February of 2006, Stiftung Warentest conducted several in-depth and thorough tests on the world's leading suppliers and manufacturers of strollers, baby carriages, and push chairs.
Harmful substances are located in parts which parents are obliged to touch and which are easily accessible to their children: handles, protective bars, padding and textile coverings.
For everyday use items, there is no place for materials causing illness – and especially not for products with which small children come into contact. Whether these are emollients, PACs or organozinc compounds, they are all unnecessary and, in every case, avoidable.
Stiftung Warentest found STOKKE® Xplory® stroller to be one of only five uncontaminated pushchair strollers free from potentially harmful materials in addition to other scores and rankings across the various tests. Including the only stroller with an adjustable foot rest, STOKKE® Xplory® stroller was found by the jury to be the overall town baby carriage model and preferred stroller of choice.
