Using Stokke® Xplory®
Is the Stokke Xplory stroller able to go up and down stairs easily?
Yes. The unique two-wheeled functionality of Stokke Xplory will not only assist you over uneven terrain, but also over urban obstacles such as escalators, public transport, differing street levels, and stairs.
A conventional stroller would normally require two people to help lift the stroller, with one holding the rear handle bar, and the other the front wheel(s), balancing the stroller as they lift so as not to tip the stroller mid air. Without help the user of a conventional stroller must use great physical exertion to heave and hoist their stroller up steps, stairs, or onto public transport.
The unique design of Stokke Xplory enables you to simply collapse its rear wheels making it easier for you to wheel the stroller up stairs, or onto public transport etc. with minimal effort and without the need for additional help and assistance from others.
Can I navigate with Stokke Xplory into small spaces such as escalators and small elevators?
Yes. The Stokke Xplory is very narrow at just 57cm wide. It can manoeuvre with ease in and out of the tightest places such as small elevators and escalators.
Can I take Stokke Xplory with me when travelling?
Yes. Stokke Xplory is unlike other strollers in that it folds away neatly with dimensions of just: length 99cm x width 57cm x height x 42 cm (including wheels), fitting comfortably in most small, mid, and family sized cars. Weighing just 10.5kg, the Stokke Xplory is extremely portable for lifting in and out of the car's rear.
With the baby bag (carry cot), the folded Stokke Xplory has a dimension of length 107cm x width 57cm x height x 42 cm (including wheels), and again fits comfortably inside most small, mid, and family sized cars.
The Stokke Xplory travel bag allows you to pack your Stokke Xplory safely into a convenient bag which protects your stroller against dirt and shocks. With a partially transparent lid, the Stokke Xplory travel bag also makes your stroller visible, allowing flight baggage handlers to be aware of its contents and increase handling care.
My husband and I both love nature and walking, but are we able to bring Stokke Xplory with us and keep our child dry in rainy weather, warm in cold weather, and cool in hot weather for example?
Stokke Xplory is not just a stroller but a complete baby carriage solution designed to be with you and your child through many years and through every season.
From your child's first early months, the Stokke Xplory carry cot, comes with a protective rain cover that protects your child from rain and poor weather through its water repellent cover and canopy.
As your child matures and prefers to be seated, you can make use of the seat rain cover which is also included to protect your child from rain when sitting upright.
Both covers are clear and transparent and provide your child with the same open view that they experience with Stokke Xplory in normal weather conditions.
The Stokke Xplory foot muff and warm sleeping bag provides added insulation for your child during colder conditions.
As the seasons change and spring emerges, a light sleeping bag keeps your child warm whilst allowing them to breathe easily in cool temperatures. And as summer returns once more, the Stokke Xplory parasol protects your child from harmful UV radiation, whilst the Stokke Xplory mosquito net provides full protection from insects and other unwanted guests.
