Stokke Xplory technical specifications

Because of the demands placed upon a stroller, when folding, unfolding, out walking, shopping, or simply strolling across asphalt, grass, or uneven terrains, the construction of a stroller needs to be advanced, robust, as well as practical.

Did you know that strollers and pushchairs are amongst the children's products with the highest rate of complaints? It's little wonder when you consider their frequent use in different locations and weather conditions.

However, if designed or produced in a less than thorough manner, your stroller, baby buggy, or push chair may quickly deteriorate, resulting in worn-out parts, punctures, and breakages. Designed or produced in a less thorough manner, your stroller, baby buggy, or push chair may quickly deteriorate, resulting in worn-out parts, punctures, and breakages.

Advanced technology and materials

Choosing the right technical solutions and materials is critical to ensure the optimal quality, reliability and safety of your stroller. The Stokke Xplory stroller is truly innovative. Use of advanced technical solutions, and specialized materials is unique, and every component and material of Stokke Xplory is carefully chosen to fit together to obtain the optimal functionality for you and your child.

Whilst Stokke Xplory has many advanced technical solutions, only few are visible and the majority concealed inside the chassis. This reduces risk of squeezing fingers, as well as making your Stokke Xplory easier to clean, and reducing the need for maintenance.

Stokke Xplory is designed around a robust central bar, produced from the strongest aluminium types. All other parts are attached to this central bar, making the construction of Stokke Xplory extremely strong and sturdy, whilst flexible and adjustable at the same time. The wheels are made from rubber, filled with air bubbles, making them soft without the risk of puncturing. And all textiles and fabrics are made from polyester fibre, making them durable and easy to clean.

The hood and the optional parasol also have strong protection against UV radiation (50 spf).

All plastic components are made from different types of reinforced compounds, chosen for their optimal combination of strength, flexibility, durability and weight.

No materials on Stokke Xplory, in use or production, are hazardous to your child or the environment. All plastic components are marked for recycling, re-use, and other handling.

Safety

Every Stokke Xplory stroller undergoes thorough and extensive testing in order to meet and exceed all international safety standards. In addition to these standards we also consult independent safety experts, parents, and users, as a supplement to the authorized test institutions and our own specialists.

Our independent quality assurance tests, created to surpass existing safety standards, are designed to test Stokke Xplory in use at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +50°C, to ensure that the Stokke Xplory stroller operates correctly in different climates. Every individual part of Stokke Xplory is also put through exhaustion tests that correspond to the equivalent of 5 years consumer use.

With other tests covering corrosion, UV radiation, and transport on air planes, the Stokke Xplory stroller is not only a safe and reliable stroller for your child, but one which provides you with the highest qualities and peace of mind.
